Planting Our Class Garden

Last week we decided that it was time to give our class garden a 'makeover'. First we weeded the garden and pulled out all the old vegetables. We put these on our compost pile at the back of our classroom. The next day we planted our new vegetables. Before we planted the vegetables we decided where in the garden we would plant them so that they all had enough space to grow and the same vegetables were together.

In Room 11 we are learning to work together, share and help each other - by doing this things get done quicker and we make new friends.

We planted Beetroot, Cabbage, Brussel Sprouts, Cauliflower and Broccoli. Once we had finished planting the vegetables we gave them a great big drink of water to help them grow.

Watch this space ....................our vegetables are GROWING!!
